Bobby Chinn explores the Golden Temple – Amritsar, a city that is the nucleus of Punjabi cultural and culinary heritage.
He explores the street stalls, known as Dhadas and - after breakfast - learns the art of making ghee as well as a few Punjabi vegetarian dishes.
Afterwards, he joins the kitchen crew at a Sikh holy temple and helps to make thousands of chapati in the community kitchen where local people can enjoy free meals. He also finds out more about world famous tandoori cuisine by cooking Tawa Chicken. |
