St Bernard Hospice

A thousand-year-old building that contains 3 floors of cosy dormitories and a small, beautiful chapel. Over 20,000 travellers come to this place every year for some quiet, tranquility and spiritual enlightenment. The vibe is wonderful and very relaxed - people sitting down in mess halls for dinner and breakfast and chatting to each other.
The rooms are very tidy and the cot beds comfortable. This really is a place for conversation and quiet - people go to bed early and there is no television or other modern distractions. Be sure to bring basics like towels and soap for the unisex showers at the end of each hallway.
